CELEBRATING OUR CULTURE, HISTORY, AND ANCESTORS!

The Juneteenth Dashiki Party is a cultural experience like no other. Every year we curate a celebration rooted in the historical traditions and triumphs of our ancestors. The Juneteenth Dashiki Party is that cultural renaissance movement that enshrines the legacy of our African past forever into our American reality. Our goal is to provide you the best cultural experience in the city!

The Juneteenth Dashiki Block Party is a family event so feel free to bring all of the family to experience the fun. The Juneteenth Dashiki After Party is an adult only party starting at 9pm.

WHAT SHOULD
YOU WEAR?

The Juneteenth Dashiki Party does not have an official dress code but we do encourage all of our attendees to wear a dashiki or any time of African cultural attire. There is a annual best dress competition with some dope prizes so keep that in mind as you prepare your outfit.

What is Juneteenth?

Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day or Freedom Day, is an American holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. state of Texas, and more generally the emancipation of enslaved African Americans throughout the former Confederate States of America. The Juneteenth Dashiki Party was created to celebrate our culture, history, and ancestors in a major way.
